The Heide Museum Sculpture Gardens is an untouched tapestry of native and exotic plants filled with sculptures, and has been an inspiration for the festival since conceptualisation.

Less than 20 minutes from the CBD, the Heide MOMA Sculpture Park has the best of both worlds - lush and secluded, but you can be back home faster than you can say ‘Gateway’.

Gateway is festival of sound, art and community set among the natural beauty of Melbourne’s Heide Museum of Modern Art, about 9km from CBD. Gateway festival brings together an eclectic mix of local and international DJs pushing boundaries across genres.

Gateway Festival acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land and waters on which the festival is located. We pay respect to their Elders past and present, and recognise the rich traditions and continuing creative cultures of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australia.
